NON-NEGOTIABLES 3+ years Sushi Chef experience working in an upscale establishment Nigiri and Sashimi skills required Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation Excellent food handling skills to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination Ensure proper labeling and dating, as well as holding and rotating techniques for storage Clean, organized, efficient operating style Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines High personal and professional standards Strong attention to detail, consistency, and systems Patience and Integrity EXTRAS WE APPRECIATE Guest-facing comfort or desire to engage guests during service Strong hospitality instinct and understanding of guest energy Jedi-level time management, communication, and organization Curiosity about technique, ingredients, and continuous improvement Closed Sundays, Mondays and most major holidays Medical Insurance with Dental, Vision available Discount at all restaurants in our group
