Sr. Organic Social Strategy Consultant (Contract - Remote - 12-15 hrs/week)

Overview

Seeking a senior strategist to lead organic social search and discovery strategy across platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging AI-driven search experiences. This is a hands-on strategic role focused on turning audience insights, search behavior, community signals, and platform trends into actionable recommendations. Ideal for someone with agency or consulting experience who can drive strategy, not daily channel management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform social search and discovery strategies.
• Analyze audience behavior, search trends, competitor activity, and research findings.
• Identify and prioritize content, channel, and growth opportunities.
• Partner with SEO, content, and social specialists to create integrated recommendations.
• Translate complex data and insights into clear strategic direction and roadmaps.
• Support presentations and provide expert strategic guidance.
• Create repeatable frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in organic social, social search, content strategy, or integrated marketing strategy.
• Strong understanding of how major social platforms surface and recommend content.
• Knowledge of social SEO, AI-driven search experiences, and audience discovery behavior.
• Experience building multi-channel strategies and translating research into business recommendations.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to evaluate evidence, identify insights, and prioritize actions.
• Agency, consultancy, or multi-client environment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with YouTube, Reddit, and emerging AI search trends.

• $40-$50/hr. DOE
• Approximately 12-15 hours per week during onboarding and strategic planning
• U.S. business hour availability preferred (Central/Eastern overlap)
